This course was developed to meet licensing requirements of the WA Electrical Licensing Board for an A Grade Electrician's Licence. The course leads to a licensing outcome for suitably qualified electricians - A Grade Electrical Licence
If you've been advised to undergo a competency assessment, this course will help you gain the skills and knowledge needed to:
- Inspect and test an electrical installation and equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Design and install low voltage electrical wiring in domestic premises, inclusive of wiring enclosures, cable support systems and cable accessories
- Work safely in the electrical industry
- Meet the requirements of mandatory reporting and
- Terminate cables and connecting accessories to comply with installation standards
These skills cover the skills required to achieve the following core units of competency
ETLITW301 Inspect and Test Electrical Wiring and Equipment
ETLDIW302 Design and Install Low Voltage Electrical Wiring
