Students ready for WorldSkills National Championships

Estimated reading time: 1 minute

24 July 2023

We are excited to have 23 students selected to represent Western Australia at the WorldSkills National Championships next month, Australia's biggest vocational education and excellence competition.

Our students joined fellow WorldSkills Western Australia state champions and runner ups at Parliament House last week where they were presented with their official Team WA uniforms ahead of the upcoming championships in Melbourne in August.

Our students and recent graduates will compete across a variety of fields including jewellery, fashion design, graphic design, 3D digital game art, carpentry, plastering, tiling, fitting, signage, IT and cyber security.

If you want to check out some of our students preparing for the competition you can visit the Perth SkillsWest Careers & Employment Expo from 27 to 29 July 2023.
